greener grass or something similar

song of the day
first song by matt pond pa

the grass is always greener on the other side or so they say but where exactly is the other side and who says you want to be where there is greener grass. i am trying to be ok with the worn out crab grass right now. i just havent been able to feel complacent for a while. complacency can be a good and a bad thing. i think it is important to never be satisfied with certain things but you need to be complacent with things you do not have control over which is where i struggle.

come home darling, come home quickly.

thanks in part to mother nature it will never rain again it should do wonders for the gnp.

dependently independent

song of the day
i taught myself to grow old by ryan adams
love this song think its talking about being independent and struggling to learn things on your own

seeing old friends being in old places and watching the familiar jazz stink up the joint things change but some things stay the same its how it goes

punk as bleep

song of the day
punk as fuck by the american analog set

Knowing that punk is an attitude...
not how you dress or do your hair,
not what kind of music you listen to,
not who you hang out with,
not how much you drink,
not what kind of drugs you do,
not if you sleep on the street or eat out of dumpsters,
not how many tattoos or piercings you have,
